Grasswells Holiday Cottages takes your privacy seriously and we do all we reasonably can to protect our visitors’ privacy and to ensure the security of all visitor information.

We do not collect sensitive information about you except when you specifically knowingly provide it and give your consent.  We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information:
  1. when you contact us by email or telephone or through any contact, booking or newsletter opt-in form provided on our Website, we may ask you to provide some or all of your name, email address and telephone number
  2. from time to time, we may ask you to submit personal information about yourself (e.g. name and address etc.) in order to receive or use services or products from us.
  3. if you wish to book a holiday with us we may collect and use your payment details in order to process payment; we will not retain your payment details beyond the completion of the transaction for which they were provided.
  4. we may collect, store and use anonymised information about devices or other items of hardware through which visitors access our Website and visits to and use of our Website (including without limitation partial IP addresses, geographical locations, browser/platform types and versions, Internet Service Provider,s operating systems, referral source/exit pages, length of visit, page views, website navigation and search terms that are used) in order to improve visitor experience in using our Website.  This process uses third party software, Matomo, hosted at SiteE@se to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. This information is anonymised and processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do need to collect personally identifiable information through the website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it
